Tamara Feddema (1976) grew up in the Fryske Wâlden and has been writing creatively since she was eight. She writes mostly in Frisian, but sometimes in English or Dutch as well. Her focus lies in Frisian poetry. Inspiration comes from art, nature and the life and work of, among others, Sybren Polet, Astrid Lampe and Sytse Jansma.
Since 2024 she’s enrolled at the Frisian writer’s academy, de Skriuwersfakskoalle. She has been published in the literary magazine De Moanne and the newspaper De Leeuwarder Courant and sometimes writes an interview or review. Her to-do-list includes a poetry collection, (picture) book and even an opera.
